ClinicalScribe ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:
- Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, professional title, and qualifications, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application.
- Consultation Data: Audio recordings of consultations and the resulting transcriptions and documents that you create using the Application. Crucially, our AI is instructed to de-identify all Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from transcriptions and generated documents. As the user and data controller, you are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the final content is fully anonymized.
2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide the core services of audio transcription and document generation.
- Improve the accuracy and functionality of our AI models.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
3. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
4. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Audio files are processed in-memory and are not stored permanently on our servers after the transcription process is complete. Transcriptions and generated documents are stored temporarily during your active session and are discarded when you clear your session or log out. Account information is stored securely.
